Huge Alaska Peninsula Brown Bear – WTA HUNTS

Huge Alaska Peninsula Brown Bear – WTA HUNTS WTA Co-Owner, Outdoor TV host, and Writer Tim Herald is looking for 1-2 hunters to accompany him on the Alaska Peninsula this Spring for a May Brown Bear hunt in an area that regularly produces giant bears.

•This is an 8 day hunt, running from May 11-18 (hunt days). There are cabin and tent options, and most camps have boat, atv or argo support. You won’t be eating 3 meals of freeze dried food, our outfitter provides great quality meals in a very remote locale. You don’t have to be miserable and hungry to hunt the AK Peninsula.
•Success rates run 90-100% year in year out with most hunters taking their bears in 4 days.
•The Alaska Peninsula produces more brown bears over 9’ than anywhere including Kodiak, and this exclusive use area is nothing short of phenomenal.
•Spring is the time that big boars are on the move looking for sows and eating after they have been denned up for months so they are visible throughout daylight hours.
•Bears average 9.5 feet with a few true 10-footers taken every year.
•Cost of hunt is $26,500 for cabin option and $25,500 for tent option.
•If you want to kill a true monster brown bear, this is THE HUNT for you.
