Mountain House Not Affected by RECALL

Mountain HouseYou may have heard that on Saturday, February 15 the USDA announced a CLASS I recall on almost a quarter-million pounds of processed eggs from dried-egg supplier Nutriom due to serious concern of Salmonella contamination.

We want to assure you that Mountain House was not affected by the recall. Mountain House cook all of our eggs in-house before freeze-drying them. With more than 50 years of experience, Mountain House has a proven process and quality controls in place to ensure the safety and quality of our food. This is one of the many reasons Mountain House can claim that our food has the longest proven shelf life. Period.
